When there is a need for additional space, many astute homeowners survey their current homes and figure out methods which will permit them to use the existing structure to create the needed extra space.  One such method is to convert a completed garage into a habitable and functional area. Garage conversions are the ideal choice for the homeowner who requires an extra bedroom, office or living space. Even though a lot of home buyers seek homes which have either single or double garages, if a garage conversion has been skilfully done, and a functional space has been created, most home buyers will find the conversion to become a focal selling point of the property.  More than just improving the resale value of the property, if the created space allows, an extra income can be generated through rental of your converted garage.
