Maintaining a garden is often seen as hard work and backbreaking labour. This is the view of a many homeowners who drudgingly mow the lawn, toss garden beds, trim edges and weed out all alien looking wild flowers or weeds which seem to haphazardly take over garden beds, after the first downpour.  The good news is that if garden work is done on a regular basis and the garden is not only tended to, when it resembles an overgrown jumble of weeds, lawn and unkempt shrubs – maintaining a suburban garden need not require an entire Saturday morning.

If, the thought of mowing lawn or pulling out weeds is not high up on your to do list, a company that offers a weekly or fortnightly garden service may be the answer – a garden maintenance company.  The garden servicing company arrives fully laden with the necessary garden keeping tools, from pitch folks, to lawn mowers and shrub cutters and weed eaters. A team of expert gardeners then set to work tending to the garden and once done – with the edges trimmed, weeds removed and grass neatly mowed – the once shabby garden looks similar to a garden in a glossy home and decor magazine.

You may, however relish the thought of meticulously tending to your own garden and setting aside a few hours each weekend is all that is needed to achieve similar results. If done correctly and diligently garden upkeep need not be a backbreaking or tiring chore. It may even be a welcome break could be the ideal time to come up with a few grand new ideas for your patch of lawn or your winter garden beds.
